first, here's tom holding a boa constrictor, taken on the boardwalk at wildwood. there's only 3 amusement piers and several water parks there, plus a million places to lose your money at games.


then we have the other five kids all in the tub after a day at the beach. they stayed in there more than an hour.

home again home again

here we are back in bordentown after a very nice week in cape may. sorry, my shift key is broken and i haven't gotten around tos wapping keyboards with the kids. it is 87 percent humidity here now and we wish we were at the beach. every day bug says can we go to the ocean today. we will go next weekend to island beach state park if it is nice. the good thing is you can go through sept. if the air doesn't get too cold, as the water stays warm enough until then.

steve and mom took most of the pictures, so i will post more when i get theirs. i just have a couple from vacation.

vacation, here we come

tomorrow is vacation and we can't wait. it is only 72, but the humidity is 87 percent at almost 9. the high today is 92, with humidity remaining high all day. there is a heat advisory out. are we ready for the shore or what

jon has to work late today, so the kid and i will get the car packed and laundry done. tomorrow the shore....yay

80 right now, but humidity in the 60% range. Ugh. Kids LOVE the ice cream truck. jim says, at least we have one friend, the ice cream truck driver! (She is very nice.)

We are all looking forward to vacation. I went to storage today to get bedding out, and got out a few more dresses for Miss Rosie-Posie, who has been demanding/requesting new clothes. Princesses need new clothes, apparently. So I pulled out a bunch of size 7 dresses and she was thrilled.

grumble, grumble

We are counting the days till Sunday, when we can go to the shore again. (Jon has to go to the Air Force base Sat.) Humidity is down to 43%, but temp is 90. Ugh. Everyone is getting grumbly, esp. me.

ok, it is 9:30 or so, 75 degrees, with humidity of 88%. It does not feel the least bit cool or comfortable. I never thought 75 could be so unpleasant. It rained last night, but only cooled us off while it rained. The kids loved puddle jumping, though!
